FARE OR MOTU DINNER

This is a particularly special dining experience designed to transport couples back to ancient Tahiti. It takes place on our heart-shaped motu or beneath a traditional Polynesian fare building, open to the tropical breeze, in a quiet part of the resort.

You'll be welcomed with a glass of champagne and serenaded by Polynesian music and dance performances throughout the experience. Tahitian dance is a powerful and highly symbolic expression of our ancestry, where each movement and every single gesture carries a specific significance and references the traditions, legends and heritage of our storied island culture. Its pulsating rhythms, sensual movements and symbolic gestures are a distinct art of ’ori Tahiti.

It all starts with a traditional 'pu', a large shell that creates an evocative sound that's pure Polynesia. As you sit down to enjoy a four-course meal, having chosen from a specially conceived menu, the entertainment continues with traditional dance and Polynesian songs performed to ukelele melodies and the beat of to’ere and tari parau drums. It all culiminates in a fire dance – a dramatic and captivating end to your evening.

The entire experience is truly spectacular and beautifully romantic.
