Excellence with a Sense of Place

A GENUINE FLAVOUR OF POLYNESIA

Our guests can expect to experience an authentic immersion in Polynesian life. Our incredible natural settings and ancient island culture profoundly influence the design and aesthetic of our hotel, the style and spirit of our service, the food and drink we serve and the activities and experiences we offer.

Polynesia expressed in every detail

We endeavour to protect and restore the nature that nourishes us and the wider culture that helps define our identity. In fact, like all Relais & Châteaux properties, we aim to operate in harmony with all life on earth, according to principles endorsed by UNESCO. More widely, as members of a globally recognized brand, we feel part of a bigger, more meaningful international movement.

The Polynesian Route du Bonheur

Relais & Châteaux curates more than 150 itineraries around the world. Known as Routes du Bonheur ('roads of happiness') these road trips are designed to showcase the best of a region's natural scenery, cultural attractions, gastronomy and artisanship, connected by its properties.

Over the years, as our properties have each joined the association – Le Taha'a in 2004, Le Bora Bora and Le Nuku Hiva in 2020, and Le Tikehau in 2025 – they have become the exclusive stopping points on a Polynesian Route du Bonheur. It offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate some of our region's less-visited islands and allows guests to appreciate the remarkable nuances between each island and every archipeligo they visit.
