On the occasion of the 20th anniversary partnership with Relais & Châteaux, our beautiful maison of Taha'a was delighted to welcome the renowned chef Christophe Hay, holding two Michelin stars and a Green Star, for an exceptional gastronomic dinner on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in collaboration with Chef Loïc Mercier, chef of the Tipairua gourmet restaurant. As the first Relais & Châteaux hotel in French Polynesia, we take pride in celebrating this long-standing partnership, which demonstrates our commitment to excellence and authenticity.
For this special evening, Chefs Loïc Mercier and Christophe Hay crafted a unique gourmet menu together. They presented our guests with an extraordinary menu that showcased their respective skills, creativity, and passion for gastronomy, subtly blending iconic products from French Polynesia with French savoir-faire.

The evening was an unforgettable culinary experience, where each dish was a true symphony of flavors and refinement, all within an intimate, authentic, and refined atmosphere.


CHRISTOPHE HAY, French starred chef at the helm of Relais & Châteaux - Fleur de Loire - in Blois, is known for his sustainable cuisine and judicious use of local products. His encounter with Paul Bocuse in 2001 was decisive, marking his personal and professional journey. His talent has earned him two red stars as well as a green star in the Michelin Guide and national and international recognition, making him a major figure in contemporary French gastronomy.

LOÏC MERCIER, Chef of Tipairua, honed his culinary artistry in various renowned establishments in the gastronomic scene. Today, he enthusiastically shares his expertise and passion within our beautiful maison of Taha'a, offering our guests an authentic and refined culinary experience. With a subtle fusion of Polynesian cuisine and French savoir-faire, Loïc delights our guests by elegantly harmonizing the influences of both cultures.
